With all the debate going on at the FED2k forum [http://dune2k.com/forum/index.php?topic=18620.0] I think it is necessary to setup a fair policy concerning the books written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Since the release of the first book in the House Trilogy by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, a Star Trekkian-like arguement over what is and is not canon in the [[Duniverse]] has persisted. Are the prequel novels canon? Is the [[Dune Encyclopedia]] canon? Are either of them canon? Should any of us actually care?

== DII images ==

Could you try not to double the resolution when uploading DII images? It means that pictures take four times as long to load. I didn't double any resolution. I took the screenshots straight out of Dune II. Actually I tried reducing the image size, but this seems hardly to make any difference in filesize (only a single KiB or so) so I just left it at that. --[[User:Timenn|Timenn]] 12:09, 23 March 2006 (PST)
