The Winds of Dune is the second novel in the Heroes of Dune quadrilogy, and was released in August 2009. The novel was previously known as Jessica of Dune, before a name change was announced on 28th February 2009. It was written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, and therefore is one of the New Dune novels.
